Research brief · reviewed October 2, 2026

Four buildings.
Three settings.

A source-linked view of the public planning, transit and architectural records behind Creative Edge's Westside portfolio. This is context for deciding where to tour, not a substitute for a current floor plan or lease proposal.

What the public record can establish

The City of Santa Monica's land-use plan identifies a Mixed-Use Creative district around Bergamot intended to retain creative-arts and entertainment work while improving connections to transit. LA Metro's E Line records establish the 26th St/Bergamot and Expo/Bundy stations. Getty's Frank Gehry archive record includes 1520 Cloverfield among documented Gehry projects. These sources make the neighborhood and architectural context auditable.

What it cannot establish

Public planning documents do not tell you which suite is available, the current asking rate, the usable area, how parking is allocated, what the owner will deliver or whether a room works for sound-sensitive production. Those facts belong in the current broker package, floor plan and written proposal.

1520 Cloverfield

Architectural character and the Gehry record are the reason to tour. Verify the exact suite, rate, parking allocation, access and delivery condition.

A separate building in the same corridor. Compare the actual floor plan, daylight, private areas and current availability rather than borrowing 1520's history.

Westgate Media Park

A larger West LA campus near Expo/Bundy. Confirm the offered suite, parking terms and the real walk from the building entrance to the station.
